    General Rules
    All rules unless otherwise stated here default to Pathfinder rules.

    Ability Score Generation
    Roll 4d6, discard the lowest die result, and add the three remaining results together. Do this seven times in total, and take off the lowest result. You may do this process two times in total, then choose between the two sets. If you do not like either, you can roll a third set, but you must take it even if the other two are better. I won't make you roll on here, I trust you guys.

    High Fantasy Point Buy (20 Points) is also an option.

    Death
    Dying will handled as per normal Pathfinder rules. First off, all resurrection spells and abilities are allowed, they are not banned. Secondly, your maximum negative is equal to 2x your Constitution score, just like normal Pathfinder. You do not get a save to prevent your death if you are put above your maximum negative. Resurrection spells' material components will be cheaper, however. Resurrection spells will also give you the opportunity to retrain your character levels. If you choose to retrain, you must have a decent reason. Going from fighter to wizard is possibly fine if your character had an active interest in the arcane arts and really showed it, same for fighter to cleric if your fighter was devout to his god, rites and rituals. Going from fighter to wizard or cleric may not be approved if interest wasn't really shown, though you may possibly be permitted to change to something like a magus or paladin.

    Favored Class Bonus
    Paizo Pathfinder (ie. Not Dreamscarred press or homebrew) classes may elect to choose a favored class bonus every level or their alternate favored class bonus as dictated by their race.

    Gods and Praying
    The Gods are busy, and will not necessarily answer your prayers. They do not mess directly with the mortal world too often, but they are more likely to take notice of followers that in some way improve help their portfolio/domains, or commit deeds for the sole intention of doing it for their honor. For example, opening a successful clinic to heal those in poverty will bring favor with your God if they have the domains like Healing, Good, or Community.

    Pathfinder deities are a cancerous hybrid between poorly veiled real deities and made up trash, so we will be using the Faerunian deities. If you can tell the difference, use 3.5 lore, not 4e lore (4e killed off Gods like Helm and had the spellplague and some other things that aren’t relevant)

    Homebrew
    No homebrew will be explicitly banned, however all non Pathfinder/Dreamscarred Press material will be subject to DM approval. This includes, but is not limited to, feats and classes.

    Levels and XP
    You will get XP for defeating creatures as appropriate for the encounter. As such, if you killed a creature and retreated, you would indeed get XP even though you may not have completed the encounter. Killing creatures is not strictly necessary, knocking them unconscious counts as well (Note that knocking a creature unconscious, waking it up, and then knocking it unconscious again will not give additional XP). Resolving an encounter in other ways may also give XP. If you are playing a class or using an ability with XP costs (Note, XP costs, not level costs), the XP cost will be converted to a gold cost as according to the 3.5 to Pathfinder conversions. You may also get XP in ways aside from encounters.

    Martial Characters
    Similarly to Ming’s campaign non-primary initiators will receive martial maneuvers to help them out, though martial classes who feature a chassis similar to spells or manuevers will not qualify (Confirm with your DM that your class qualifies). It will work slightly differently, however. In this campaign, characters will receive Martial Training I to Martial Training IV. This will ignore prerequisites, and you will receive them at levels 3, 5, 7, and 9 (as if your level was your BAB for qualifying).

    Nature of the Campaign
    The game world has already been completely made, with numerous events unfolding at once. There is no overarching "goal" to the campaign other than ones driven by your characters' ambitions. Your character wants to wonder the world and experience new things? There are six major areas of the world, each with their own settings and major powers. Want to just dungeon on all campaign? Possible in the various towns and cities of the worlds. Lust for power? There are several hidden and not so hidden wells of power that you could potentially tap into. You can do whatever you want to do as both a character and as a player. Want to stay in the first area all campaign and never visit the others? I'll be a little grumpy, but I will by no means try to railroad you out of there.

    The world is alive, however. This means areas you have not visited will still be doing things without you. Some areas will be in a deadlock or standstill without player influence, but this does not hold true for all areas. In other words, player influence can create it's own changes to the environment, but the environment can also change itself without players. You might hear news of this from time to time. That's not me pushing or dropping hints for you to go there, it's simply the world moving on its own (though you most certainly can go there if you wish).

    Another point to make about the world, is that it will not cater to you. Enemies will not dynamically scale with your level per se. If you go climb Mount Doom to throw claim the Holy Sword of Holiness, I won't stop you, but the enemies will be hard, and they will be soul crushing for a party of level 3 characters. This also works the other way too. Walking into a nice forest by a regular peaceful town most likely won't yield anything hard for medium level characters. This also means information gathering or the knowledge skills will be more important, so you know which areas to avoid (unless you want to test yourself) for the time being.

    Skills and Skill Ranks
    Pathfinder style for skill ranks, though non class skills take double the amount of points to get a rank in, a la 3.5. You can also get the unchained skill uses through the feat.

    Weapons and Weapon Availability
    Composite bows can be upgraded past +5, each additional level just resulting in an additional 100gp increase. This does not necessarily need an entirely new bow bought, the bow can be upgraded to additional modifiers

    Pathfinder Weapon stats, including Simple, Martial, Exotic, Eastern Weapons, and Early Firearms. Ask me about anything more technologically advanced than the early firearms. Ie. If you wanna drive a fucking mech, I might let a steam powered thing get by, but you will not drive a fucking Gundam.
